Form of Defense

World War 1 was the first war that the United States entered. This was also not the last war, but it was also the start of the United States beginning the world's superpower where defense started to change for the better. World War 1 started because in 1914 of June Archduke Franz Ferdinand was assassinated by a Serbian terrorist,that caused Europe to go to war with Austria-Hungary. World War 1 also started by (M.A.I.N.) militarism, alliances, imperialism, and nationalism. The defense of the United States changed because there are new items. We have weapons, warfare, and communication. This is a result of World War 1 and new forms of defense that created new weapons,warfare, and communication.

First form of defense used in WW1 was the use of weapons. Weapons was not new at this time. There was many new kind of weapons used in WW1. Poison gas is a new weapon because it was a gas that could kill you slowly though your lungs (textbook pg 143). U-boats is another new weapon made and used at this time, u-boats are small submarine that fires torpedos and blow up ships(pg 144). Tanks was also used in WW1, tanks were armed big like car that was not affected by small firearms(pg 144). This was one new form of defense used in WW1.

Second form of defense used in WW1 was type of warfare faced. There was new warfare that happened in WW1. One is  trench warfare, you fought in a trench all day shooting the other team (source # 6). Second warfare that we fought was submarine warfare, this kind of warfare is fought with submarines and it was also used to blow up ships (source # 6). Third combat fought was aerial combat, this warfare was fought in the sky with planes each team would have also shot the enemies buildings and others places (source # 3). This was the second kind of defense used.

Third form of defense used was communication. With communication it was fast and able to send messages to each other ally to tell of enemies location. There was was the telegraph, it was able to send messages to each other (source # 4). There was also radios used as communication because it was able to hear what was going on around the battlefields (source # 4) . Runners would also send messages like a telegraph, but the was slow at times so they stop using them (source # 4). This was the third form of defense used in WW1.

Therefore in conclusion, the defense used in WW1 was the major part in it to help United States to become the world superpower where defense was just the start. The weapon used since then changed. The warfare we faced have been different. Communication used in WW1 have been modified. Thanks to the war the defense have grown over time, each time one better than the last.

Capricorn Anderson (cap) is a hippie kid that live on Garland Farm with his Grandmother (Rain). Cap has lived at Garland Farm with Rain since he was born. He has never been in society. Cap gets home schooled by Rain which she had stared Garland Farm for she can be out of society. Cap has no history on nothing outside of Garland. Cap is a tall thin kid with blond hair, he also wear tie dye poncho by hand and wear it. He also wear homemade shoes too.Cap learns everything for Rain.Rain is his teacher,and mom.Then one day Rain gets injured and Cap is force to live in society.He moves in with Sophie and Ms.Donnelly.He also have to go to a school in which he never been to.Cap goes to Claverage Middle School(c average)  were he gets bully by Zach Power and his friends.Capricorn Anderson does a big hero stunt and he becomes famous in c average.He had made big impact on many people lives at c average.The ones he most affected  was Sophie Donnelly,Naomi Erlanger,and Rain.

Cap as affected Sophie live because Sophie did not like Cap at all when he came though the door.She remember the story her mom had told her about being a hippie.Sophie will always throw water at him evertime he does tai chi on the front lawn everday.Sophie also called him names and tell him not to touch her stuff.Then she seen he try to do his hair and it was mess so she went to help.That was the turning point for her.They started to watch Trigonometry and Tears without any trouble.Cap also show her to drive better and it work better for her too.But,then one day Cap has left and it was the day of her driver test and she had started to think about Cap,but she could not so she put on some music and that even remind her more about Cap and she started to cry.The but said that she started to cry when she has turn on the radio.

Another person Cap has affected here life is Naomi Erlanger.Naomi liked Zach Power,so when Cap came to there school this was a prefect chance to show Zach that she is there.Naomi went with Zach and plan some things to do to Cap.Naomi wrote fake letters to Cap to think that there is somebody that likes him.She then started to hope that Cap does not brake. She had started to change because she was not acting like herself. She also started to hang out with Cap and she even back.Once she went to the boys bathroom to kiss Cap in the mouth and she said ‘to be continued’.

Cap has also affected Rain life too.Rain has Cap stay in Garland Farm since he was little.She was thinking that Garland was the best place for Cap to grow up at.But, when she was in the hospital she was not thinking about Cap out living her.He will be in society without any knowledge of life outside of Garland Farm.So she made the choice to live outside of Garland Farm for Cap.Garland Farm was the right spot for her and she lived her life.So she wants Cap to live in the right place for him.She also made sure that when she leaves there is money for Cap

Therefore,Capricorn Anderson has affected many lives while he at Claverage Middle School.He has made almost most kids change in c average.He is loved at c average middle school.They even say he is one of the greatest 8th grade president in c average.Cap has been the same when he was in c average.He has also changed too. He likes watching TV now and know how to use money.These are the affect Cap has on the people of Claverage Middle School.

...Killing a friend is never easy to do.George killing Lennie ,was the best for both of them in there own way.Others would say George should have let Lennie Live. Lennie would have killed more people or animals if he was alive. Society would never take him in.Lennie was living in a painful life,George just help stop Lennie from going down the painful trail.

...If Lennie would stayed alive he would have killed more things.He pets mice and they would soon die because of the force Lennie use to pet them.He had a pet puppy and in a few weeks later he smacked his puppy so hard that it it the wall and die on the spot.Then he killed Curley’s wife,when he as petting her hair and he got scared because she was screaming and him as he is he do not know how strong he is so he snap her neck and she died.If the was still alive there would be nobody who would stop him from killing more.Society would never accept him for who he is and does.Lennie is a tall strong man that has a brain of a five year old.He had got was in the Town Weed when a woman said he raped her.Lennie would never take orders from him self, he would need George.Lennie could work but would have to run a way after a few months because every place he goes to conflict follows him.Lennie would never fit in because people would not give him a chance too.

...Lennie was  living in a painful life like Candy’s dog.He was a old dog that can not do nothing no more.It is the same as Lennie,but its with Lennie’s brain.He could work like others but his mind would not act like the other men.Lennie would always bring conflict with him to every place the went.George help Lennie to be free from a painful life he would have to live in.

...George killing Lennie was the best for both of them.Lennie would not kill nobody again.He would not have to live in the painful life he was coming too.The other opinion of letting Lennie live and George should have not done that.While if that had happen then Carlson and Curley would have killed him.If not that then he would be in jail for the rest of his life,its would be worse because he would have other people there that will hurt Lennie and slowly be killing him.It was a good thing George did,he stop all the bad thing stop to Lennie.

Faith,Trust,and Illusions

Elie believe that the Jew’s faith, trust, and illusions caused them to be victimized by the Germans. The Jews believe in there god, but believed that he was going to fix everything. They trusted in thee Germans.They thought the Germans would keep them from harm, as long as they do what was told. Illusions of the Jews made them believe the Germans was taking them away from danger. The evidence of what the Germans was doing was not clear to the Jews. Faith of the Jews made them victims of the Germans. In the memoir of Elie it said,”In the beginning there was faith-which is childish.”Also, it said,”For God’s sake, where is God?”They believed  in God and thought he was going to fix everything. Faith in there God made them think he was to save everybody. Faith just made things worse because the faith would not help them to stay live for long. There was no hope in faith.

The trust cause them to be victimized by the Germans soldiers. The Jew trusted in the Germans in the beginning.They thought the Germans was taking them to a better place.In the story it said,”The -Red-Cross negutiating our liberation or other fables...And often we would believe them.”This shows that the Jews trust in the Germans was high,but the outcome is ways different then they say.The book also said,”Trust-which is vain.”The trust is never great .Its just stupid to trust the Germans.

Illusions also contributed to the genocide of the Jews.For the Jews,illusions in Aushwitz to much dangerous.In the story it said,”And illusions-which is dangerous.”This means illusions is always never good.Another is,’Who know they may be sending us away for own good.The front is getting closer,we shall soon here the guns.And then surely the civilian population will be evacuated.”The Germans was not taking them to a better place.They are taking them to kill the rest of them,just what Hitler promise to do.
Therefore,Elie felt that the Jews faith,trust,and illusion cause them to be victimized.The faith in God.The trust in Germans.The illusion which cause death. All contributed to the genocide of the Jews

Bill of Rights for Whom

NO, the gov't should not change people lifestyle or culture. The people should do what they want. If we vote for them a less they could leave us alone with our lifestyle/or culture.  Our freedom is being violated.If the gov't takes our lifestyle or culture they take our freedom of life.

Meaning of the Swastika

 The swastika is an equilateral cross with its arms bent at right angles. Mostly dates back to the Ancient India. It widely still use in India.Mostly in Hinduism and Buddhism religion.Then it was use as the symbol of the Nazi.An there for it would almost be mostly know for the Nazis.

Near the end

The Holocaust has ended and the Jews was set free. Hitler was killed by him self and dead there. He was in a safe place,but did not want to fall in the hand of man.

Genocide

Genocide mean the deliberate and systematic destruction . In a ongoing genocide in Dafur systematically displaced and murdered at the hand of janjaweed goverment supported militia claimed over 2,000,000 people. One hundred people die each day.

We are reading a book called Night.Its about the life of Elie Wiesel, a Holocaust survivor,he writes about what has happen at that time.The books tells the story of the inside of the Holocaust.Elie writes about his daily life and the death of his family too.It would be great to see Elie Wiesel in person and ask him about how he felt at that time.What would you say to Elie Wiesel?

is history worth studding

Yes history is worth studding. If we do not study history we would not know what is going around the world. We would not know what has happen in the pass before we was born. Without history there would not have history books. History is important in american history.
